Storyline

Director

Jorge Cuchí is a director, screenwriter, and producer who transitioned from a successful career in advertising, where he earned numerous national and international awards, to filmmaking in 2015. His debut feature, 50 (o dos ballenas se encuentran en la playa), premiered at the Venice International Film Festival, was an official selection at the Hola Mexico Film Festival and won multiple accolades worldwide, including Best Mexican Feature at the Morelia International Film Festival. In 2023, he released his second film, Un Actor Malo, which had its world premiere at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival.
